Nagoa Beach, renowned for its shallow waters and pristine environment, holds significant prominence as a popular coastal destination within Gujarat and India. A recent study focused on identifying site-specific challenges and proposing conceptual design solutions to enhance the visitor experience. The resulting design incorporates a promenade strategically positioned between the existing road and the high tide line. Key elements of the design include well-organised kiosks, designated garbage collection zones, dedicated children's play areas, and a pedestrian walkway along the beach. Furthermore, the proposal encompasses landscaped areas, public seating, enhanced tourist facilities, parking provisions, a cycle track, and improved access points to the beach. A primary objective was to create a vibrant and engaging promenade, achieved through the incorporation of bright colors and distinct color palettes for the expansive pathways. The overall design aims to optimise the functionality and aesthetic appeal of Nagoa Beach, ensuring a sustainable and enjoyable environment for visitors.
