AMAZING ROAD OF COUNTRYSIDE

In the early morning, we left Tintagel village after amazing sightseeing on our first day, our destination was to see Wheal Coates Tin mine, which was on the way to St Ives, but the Wheal Coates Mine was located near the coastline, so we left the highway and took the countryside road for the Mine. The countryside roads toward this Mine were narrow, but those roads were full of beautiful flowers and lush green vegetation. some of the roads were very narrow, and it was just for a one-car drive. I can say I have never seen this kind of beauty in the countryside of another part of England, the place is unique for this magnificence and luxurious natural beauty, which is really god gifted.

PARKING NEAR MINE

Wheal Coates Mine is away from villages around, and this place is located near open fields, so I was expecting free parking, but the parking was not free, so we paid a parking ticket and displayed.

Wheal Coates's structures looked tiny from the parking. High grass and shrubs were hiding all the structures of the Wheal Coates Mine. After we left the parking, we took a rough trail of the pathway, which went through grass and flowers, which led us to Wheal Coates mine.Wheal Coates Mine has been closed for many years, and the structures around of mine were in a ruined position. Wheal Coates Mine come under English Heritage, and every year, tourists go to see its architectural aesthetic and historical value in South England.Wheal Coates mine is divided into two parts, one part located on the top of the cliff and another part located next to the sea at the lower level. Both parts have a chimney and a few ruined structures, but the most dominant part of the Wheal Coates mine is located near the sea. You can access this lower part through an earth pathway, and this part of the mine has a most picturesque view from all sides. The Wheal Coates mine is also connected with the coastal path; we saw trekkers who had travelled many miles by walking on this coastal path to reach this destination.

Time spent here – 2 hours max.
